Panther Ausf. G - Overloon

Overloon

Sd.Kfz. 171 - Panzerkampfwagen V Panther

Ausführung G - früh

Pictures from the vehicle at the Liberty Park Overloon (Niederlande), the Dutch National War and Resistance Museum Overloon

Actually, I always thought, what kind of a bad restored Panther! But if you keep the meaning of the museum in mind, you have really to be thankful that the Panther has found a decent home there.

The Museum is in memoriam on the war that Germany brought over the Netherlands and  the time of German Occupation in which Nazi-Germany did not show gingerly behavior with the Dutch population.

The tank belonged to Pz.Abt. 2107 as part of Pz.Brig. 107 rather sure.

Fgst.Nr. 128427; therefore presumably produced by M.N.H. in July 44.

Pictures taken in September 2008. I focused on technical details, which are probably original. The quality of the image is sometimes so-so. Sorry for that.
